NACElink Refund Policy

Charges are due by credit card when the job is submitted for posting by clicking the "Submit Job" button, which finalizes the transaction. Clicking "Save and Finish Later" will store the job to be submitted at a later date, and will not result in a charge to your credit card.

Once a job posting is paid with a credit card, charges are NOT refundable.

You will be charged for any job posting that goes online for 30 consecutive days or any portion thereof. No refund will be given for early cancellation of a 30-day job posting.

If you want a job posting to run longer than 30 days, you must resubmit the posting. To repost, please go to the Jobs section and click on the Create New Job button. Please use the "Copy Existing" drop-down field to copy an old job. If your old job is not listed in the job drop-down, proceed to click the "Show Archived" for access to more jobs.

Individual College and University (School) Career Centers may review and decline a job posting before it is posted online in their site -- please check with the relevant school(s) prior to posting your position to ensure it will be accepted. If a particular target school declines to approve your job posting, the credit card you used to pay for the posting may be credited retroactively.

Retroactive credits are issued based on the following rule:

If a job posting is declined and the total number of schools posted to falls into a different pricing category, the total amount charged will be updated and a credit issued to reflect the proper category price.

At the bottom of the OneStop login page, you will find a password lookup tool which will allow you to answer a security question and reset your password in real time.

  • 3. Can I opt to synchronize my password across all schools (as though they are centralized again)?

If you are interested in synchronizing your password you can:

      1. Login at https://onestop.nacelink.com
      2. Click on the Account tab.
      3. Under the Password/Preferences heading, look for the field titled: Centralize Account. Selecting YES will synchronize your password across all schools.
  • 4. What should I do if I cannot login to one of my target school's websites?

If you have previously registered with this target school, and have not re-centralized your account, you may contact the career center and ask them to reset your password, or you may utilize the "Forgot Password" tool, on the school's NACElink employer login page, to reset it in real time (an email will be sent to you with the new password).

If you have chosen to re-centralize your account, the career center will be unable to assist you. However, you may either utilize the "Forgot Password" tool on the school's NACElink employer login page to reset your centralized password across schools to a randomly selected one (an email will be sent to you with the new password) OR utilize the "Forgot Password" tool available on onestop.nacelink.com to reset your centralized password to the password of your choice in real time.

  • 5. What should I do if I attempt to register and get an alert that my email address is already registered?

This could mean one of two things: either you have previously registered with us using an individual email address, in which case you should utilize the Forgot Password tool (see above question) or that you are registering a company-wide email address (e.g. recruiting@demo.com) that may already be registered by a colleague. If in the latter case, you may want to check within your company prior to resetting the password.

Job Posting

  • 1. The school I want is not on the list. How can I post to it?

The participating schools list reflects an accurate list of all NACElink schools. If a school is not on the list, you cannot post a position to it through NACElink.

Please let us know the schools you are interested in posting to that are not on the list and we will contact them to encourage them to join.

  • 2. How do I repost a position?

NACElink OneStop will retain copies of any position you previously created on the portal. To repost a position, follow these steps:

      1. Log into OneStop and click on the Jobs tab
      2. Click Add New
      3. On the "Post Your Position" page, open the dropdown next to the "Copy Existing" field
      4. Highlight the job you would like to copy (if the job has already expired, click "Show Archived" to access it)
      5. Review the information and make any necessary edits (Note that the Title will have the word copy attached to it, which you can remove)
  • 3. How long does a NACElink job posting run?

All NACElink postings run for 30 days.

  • 4. Why did a school reject my job?

Each school may choose to accept or deny a new job posting. Upon receiving a "job denied" alert, you may contact the specific school for an explanation. Use the Research More Schools tab to access the school's profile and contact information (for Advanced Recruiting Package (ARP) holders, Research More Schools is a sub tab of Springboard).

  • 5. Why can only certain students at some universities see my posting?

There may be two reasons for this:

      1. Some universities are served by one centralized career services office while others have a decentralized approach where students enrolled at the university are served by separate, college-specific career services offices. Furthermore, at certain decentralized universities, some career offices may not utilize NACElink, and their respective students may not have access to your job posting.
      2. Regardless of whether a university has a centralized or decentralized career services approach, NACElink allows career services offices to control which students access which jobs. In order for a student to be eligible to view particular jobs, career services business rules may require that the student be in a specific class or degree level, have their resume reviewed and approved by career office staff, or participate in a career services workshop. Therefore, your posting is only visible to students that have met the career office's baseline requirements to access jobs.
  • 6. How can I add additional schools to my posting? For example, I have purchased the ability to post to 16-30 schools. I only selected 20 schools with my original purchase, how can I add the additional 10 schools?

Individual recruiters are unable to alter targets or add targets once a posting is live.

  • 7. May I view my posting at the school's website, to ensure it has been properly received and is visible to students?

The convenience of a multi-school ensures that you do not need to log in at each individual school to view your posting and/or applicants. During the posting process, you are able to preview how the job will appear to students. Upon submitting the job form and credit card payment information, your posting is automatically distributed to target schools.

If a target school chooses not to post your position, you will receive an email notification indicating that the school has denied your posting. If a target school has denied your posting, you will also see this information listed in a column on the right hand side of the page when you login to your NACElink OneStop account.

  • 8. How can I make edits to my posting?

Once logged in to NACElink OneStop:

      1. Click on the Jobs tab
      2. Under the Job List tab, click on the job title (or the Edit icon)
      3. Click the Edit button
      4. Enter your edits and click Submit

The posting will be updated at the schools to which you have posted

  • 9. One of the schools where I posted no longer lists the same Industries as my original posting. How did this change?

NACElink Network schools often convert standard NACElink fields, such as Industry, to labels that are specific to their student population. This "field conversion" increases the opportunity for students, at the schools where you have posted, to see your job when searching based on specific fields such as Industry, Job Function, and more.

  • 10. Is it possible to edit the Job Posting Deadline?

No, it is not possible to edit this deadline. All multi-school job postings expire 30 days after the posting is submitted.

  • 11. How many students viewed my job?

Under the Jobs tab, click on the job's title or the Edit icon on the left column. On the job description page, on the right hand side you will see a gray section with administrative information, including the target schools where the job is posted and the total number of student views.

  • 12. How do I create and review Resume Packets?

In order to be able to create Resume Packets, you must select the option to accumulate resumes online when you enter your job posting. This will ensure that students are submitting their resumes through the NACElink system, and a record of these resumes is then recorded in your account. To create a resume packet of applicants to your NACElink OneStop job posting, take the following steps:

      1. Login to your account at: http://onestop.nacelink.com
      2. Click the Jobs tab
      3. Select the title of the job you wish to create the packet for.
      4. To the left of the name of each applicant, you can either manually select or use the +/- button at the top of the list, to designate the applicants you wish to include in your packet.
      5. Once you have selected the applicants for your Packet, click on the Batch Options dropdown and select the Generate Packet option.
      6. Complete the required fields and then submit your packet.
      7. The packet will take a few moments to process. Once it has been completed, you can access the packet from under Jobs, and then look for the Resume Packet tab.

  • 13. What is the difference between posting a multi-school posting from OneStop (https://onestop.nacelink.com/) vs. a school's site?

The centralized onestop.nacelink.com portal charges for any schools selected for the posting (for a full description of rates, please visit our rates page). A multi-school posting initiated from a school's website automatically selects that school free of charge, and only charges for additional selections.

NOTE: Since the school from which you are posting is automatically selected, do not select it from the list or you will be charged. You can confirm that the school is in fact in the total by looking at the count field on the right of the school picker.

  • 1. What is a "Connect School"?

NACElink Connect is a free job board service offered to all NACE member colleges and universities. While employer contacts may post multi-school jobs to Connect schools via OneStop, there is no employer interface per school, and therefore employers are not able to subscribe to Connect schools via OneStop or login to the school directly.

  • 2. What is a "CSM School"?

A CSM school licenses the NACElink Career Services Manager by Symplicity, a comprehensive turn-key career services management solution for career services staff, students, and employers. In addition to the easy-to-use for managing job postings, the solution provides career services offices with tools to manage all recruiting and employer relations functions.

Employers are able to subscribe to CSM schools via OneStop and login to these schools directly.

  • 3. Do students access jobs differently in CSM vs. Connect?

Not at all. Job postings are equally accessible and easy to apply to in Connect and CSM.

  • 4. What is a Multi-school Environment (MSE)?

Decentralized institutions with multiple NACElink deployments often implement the Multi-school Environment (MSE) - an integrated job board across multiple campus/college career services offices. Therefore, if you post a job to a school with MSE, your job posting will be posted to all of that school's participating career offices and their respective student populations.

Payments, Discounts and Refunds

  • 1. How do I pay for a job posting?

Payment must be made by credit card at the time of posting. Visa, MasterCard, an American Express cards are accepted for payment.

  • 2. What is the fee for posting to a Multi-school Environment (MSE)?

When posting specifically to a Multi-school target, there is an extra charge per MSE, because the job posting will be accessible to multiple student populations (see FAQ #11). View all rate information here.

  • 3. Do I receive a refund if I cancel my posting early?

  • 4. Does NACElink offer any discounts?

There are bulk discounts available for employers who opt to purchase Job Packs or utilize multi-school postings to more than 5 schools. NACElink OneStop Advanced Recruiting Package (ARP) holders who subscribe to over 40 schools will also enjoy discounts. View all rates, along with discount descriptions, here.

See more information about job packs below.

  • 5. What is a Job Pack?

Job Packs allow employers to purchase jobs in bulk and at a discounted rate. Employers may purchase a 5 posting Job Pack up to a 100 posting Job Pack. Job Packs must be prepaid. To inquire about job pack pricing, click here.

  • 6. Do Advanced Recruiting Package (ARP) customers pay a separate fee to post multi-school jobs?

Yes. The ARP subscription fee covers all recruiting-related services offered by NACElink OneStop, with the exception of the multi-school job posting service. ARP customers have the option to post jobs to multiple schools according to the following pricing structure.

  • 7. A target school rejected my posting. Will I receive a refund, or can I select a different target school to replace the school that rejected my posting?

If a job posting is declined by a school, a refund may be issued in the form of a credit to the credit card you used to pay for the posting. The amount of the refund is based on the rules listed below:

      1. If a job posting is declined and the number of jobs you have posted falls into a different pricing bracket, you will be charged according to the new category. For example, if you post your job to 16 schools at the volume rate of $350, but one school rejects your posting. Because you're now posting to 15 schools your rate reverts to the volume price for 5 to 15 schools, or $235. Your credit card would be credited the difference of $115.
      2. Symplicity is not responsible for job postings that contain misspelled words, typographical errors, or garbled text, and does not offer refunds on these grounds.

You can click here to review our refund policy online.
